The collected opinions of an august and aristocratic personage who, despite her body having succumbed to the ravages of time, yet retains the keen intellect, mordant wit and utter want of tact for which she was so universally lauded in her younger days. Being of a generation unequal to the mysterious demands of the computing device, Lady Bracknell relies on the good offices of her Editor for assistance with the technological aspects of her journal.

In which the Editor has rather too much time on her hands

The Editor has this morning realised that her new Kodak software allows her to apply what it euphemistically refers to as "fun effects" to any photographs she has taken.

Nothing would do, therefore, but that she publish a photograph of Caspar in which the "cartoon" effect has been applied...

... and one of Young Master Bertram (who, coincidentally, is ten months old today) in which both the "cartoon" and the "sepia" effects have been applied.

Nifty! I especially like the image of M. Bertie-- he almost looks as though the Editor drew him by hand.

"Cartoon" is also my favourite effect at the moment (I use the GIMP). I used it along with an edge detect filter to make this image. Not to toot my own horn or anything. But. Well. Toot! :)

Lady Bracknell believes the appropriate response to be, "Coooool!".

Thank you. Admittedly I felt nearly as as cool as Ms. Eclectech upon finishing that one-- but not quite. I fear that level of coolness is far beyond my feeble GIMPing abilities (which mainly involve randomly applying filter effects until something nice happens).

*eagerly anticipates Eclectech's prints*

Hee. Based on this experience, I must say that I love it when the Editor has too much time on her hands.
